Since the first smartphone was released, our worlds changed
for the better. With new releases almost every months competing for the number
1 spot at the top, we’re bombarded with so many choices and features. Just like
the soon to be released Sony Xperia XA.
The Sony’s Xperia X series is going very big this time.
Become a master of “The selfie” with the 16MP front camera
with a super low-light feature for any situation. See more clearly with the
super narrow smartphone thanks to an awesome border-less 6-inch screen. Stay
powered for longer with up to 2-days battery life.
In London 17th of May 2016, Sony Mobile
Communications announced a brand new addition to the improved Xperia X series
with the beautiful and stylish selfie-cam masterpiece, the Xperia XA.
It’s large 6-inch screen, 16MP front camera, low-light
sensor, 2-day battery life and beautiful thin design with a border-less screen,
it’s a fantastic mid-range smartphone for your every need.
With the advanced selfie cam, you can now create the perfect
pose come day or night. All made possible by its 16MP front camera and Sony’s
famous low-light sensors. The Sony camera tech used in the Xperia XA Ultra,
helps you achieve sharp, bright, blur-free shots every time. It features a
smart selfie flash plus Optical Image Stabilization that renders hand shake for
both camera and videos, mute. Now taking a selfie is made so easy with the Hand
Shutter feature, just raise your hand and the shutter timer will start to count
down, which leaves you to make the perfect pout or strike a pose. Capturing the
perfect “out of the blue” shot is also possible with the super-fast main camera
with 21.5MP, Hybrid Auto-focus and quick launch and capture, so you can go from
standby to capturing the perfect photograph in a fraction of a second.
Fits beautifully in your hand, the infinity-feel border-less
6-inch Full HD display with curved glass. It’s encased by metal cover that
creates a seamless feel in your hand.
Even though it has a large screen, it’s razor thin design
and One-handed Operation Mode means you can still use it quite comfortably in
one hand.
The screen might be big, but that doesn’t compromise the
Sony battery standard. You still get up to 2-days of battery life from a single
charge, which leaves you with more time to chat, snap and watch. Need a quick
battery top-up? Just use the Quick Charger UCH12 and get 5.5 hours of battery
life in just 10 minutes. That, with integrated Qnovo adaptive charging tech,
the lifetime of your battery is extended so over time you get much more use out
of your new device.
Available in Graphic black, white or a stunning lime gold
from July 2016 in selected markets. You
also get a choice of stylish covers that complement and protect the Xperia XA
Ultra, including a style cover flip which offers an auto on/off for the screen
when opening and closing the case.
On a side note, the release of the XA Ultra has created
reports where Sony claims the Xperia X series will be used for all of its
devices through 2018. Which means, the XA Ultra is the apparent replacement of
the 6-inch C5 Ultra from August 2015.
Sony never disappoints, but I’m still left with questions;
Is the Xperia XA water proof? Can the phone still function under water like most
newest releases can? Will the screen break after dropping it from a seated
position?
What are your thoughts on this new release, what do you
like/dislike about what you’ve read? Do you own a better smartphone? Or the big
question, what would the perfect phone be capable of?
